Sharon (Crutsinger) Strickler, 83 passed away Thursday April 20, 2023, at Lafayette Regional Health Center. Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Wellington Methodist Church- Visitation from 12pm -1pm and Funeral Session from 1pm to 2pm, followed with the burial service at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, MO.
Sharon was born June 3, 1939 in Wellington, Missouri to Joe and Florene (Villers) Crutsinger. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1957. She was married to Russell (Dale) Strickler for 60 years. She worked for South Western Bell and was the co-owner of Dale’s Grocery and Gas for 23 years. After retirement she worked for World Book and The Lafayette County Red Cross. Sharon was a member of the United Methodist Church and spent her free time at Shirkey’s Golf Club. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her sons, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and family.
Survivors include her two sons Anthony Joseph Strickler (Stephanie Strickler) and Darren Keith Strickler (Josie Strickler). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Erika McCarthy (Ryan McCarthy), Sarah Scharfe (Benjamin Scharf), Nick, Michael, Halie, Andrea, Alexandra, and Matthew, along with her eight - great grandchildren. Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Russell (Dale) Strickler, her grandson Eric Strickler, and granddaughter Elissa Quijas.
