Ronald Leslie Blevins (81 )of Wellington, MO. passed away on April 20, 2026 at Research Hospital, in Kansas City, MO. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 at the United Methodist Church in Wellington, MO. Burial in Wellington City Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2026 with a Mic-O-Say Service at 4:00 P.M.,Visitation will follow until 6:00 p.m. at the Wellington-Napoleon Funeral Home Chapel, Wellington, MO. Memorials to Children’s Mercy Hospital or The Wellington Boy Scouts.
Ronald was born on Dec. 8, 1944, son of Leslie James and Edna Loretta (Gibson) Blevins in Higginsville, MO. He married Darlene Chase on Nov. 15, 1974. He graduated from Wellington (Classof 1963) and was in the Army National Guard (1963 to 1969). Was a Scout master for Boy Scout Troop 317 and inducted into Mic-O-Say. A Police Officer for Wellington & Napoleon. Member of Jaycees. Member of Wellington United Methodist Church, Board President and Secretary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grandparents, and son David Blevins . He leaves behind his wife Darlene of the home. Daughters: Katherine Wood, Independence, MO. Jennifer Logan (Zak Turner), Lexington, MO. son Adam Blevins, Lexington, MO. Six Grandchildren: Arick Wood Wellington, Amber Wood, Independence, MO. Dakota Logan Blue Springs, Jaxson Turner, Lexington, MO. Cora Blevins Lexington, Justyn Belevins, Texas, Four Great-Grandchildren: Ryker Barret, Lily Logan, Melody Logan, Emilia Logan, all of Blue Spring, MO. Many Cousins and Friends.
