Mary Louan (Hodson) Schumaker, 79, of Wellington, MO. passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Private viewing for family, Saturday, March 27, 2021, 6:00 p.m. at the Wellington-Napoleon Funeral Chapel, Wellington, MO. Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Wellington Methodist Church. Inurnment at a later date.

Mary was born October 4, 1941, daughter of James and Nadine (Dumas) Hodson. In Kansas City, MO. She married Joseph (Joey)Rodger Schumaker on April 16, 1960. She worked for Walmart in Higginsville, MO.as an invoice clerk for 33 years retiring in 2018. Was a member of the Wellington Methodist Church, Wellington, MO.

She was preceded by her parents and brother John Hodson She is survived by her husband, Joey of the home, 2 Sons: Warren Douglas Schumaker Blue Springs, MO. Scott Eric (Penny) Schumaker  Daughter:Amy Marie Schumaker, of Wellington, MO. Grandson: Joseph (Joey) Glenn Douglas(Christine) Schumaker, Bentonville, ARK. Great Granddaughter: Vesper Schumaker.3 Granddaughters: Jessica Schumaker, Grain Valley, MO. Leslee (Kenith)Strohman, Grain Valley, MO., Lauren (Brent) Patterson, Kansas City, MO.Grandson Nick Bross, Kansas City, MO.
