Fern Louise (Soendker) Thomann, 87, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Season Care Center, in Kansas City, MO. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Wellington-Napoleon Funeral Home Chapel, Wellington MO. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m., 1 hour prior to service. Burial to follow at St. Luke’s Evangelical Free Church Cemetery, in Wellington, MO. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors request. Fern was born daughter of Ervin W. and Tillie H. (Kohlstaedt) Soendker on June 13, 1938 in Wellington, MO. She married Robert C. Thomann on June 23, 1962, and they shared little over 53 years together, before his passing on March 29, 2017. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She leaves her son: Mark C. Thomann, Independence, MO. Her extended Family, Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters: Shirley (who passed away as an infant), Delores Delaney and Carol Carr. Brother: Arlen Soendker
